The LICK FACTORY Trailer Released
In anticipation for the forthcoming launch of the LICK FACTORY, the first view trailer has been released. Giving you scenes from the first season, the trailer shows you the production quality of the course and what you can expect to see.
The LICK FACTORY is the most detailed, most comprehensive ever compiled for the internet. Each season consists of 26 episodes that will take you from a complete novice to a professional player.
Season 1 – “…and then there was the chord” is the first series to be rolled out. Concentrating on the theory and application of chords, the 1st season teaches you to:
- have a complete understanding of the theory behind chords, where they come from, how they work.
- Know all the open chord positions for Major, Minor and Dominant 7th
- Know all Major, minor, dom 7, diminished, 5, 6, suspended, altered, diminished in all keys and in 3 positions
- Be able to read, construct and improvise strumming patterns
- Be proficient in the use of capos, uniform shapes and open strings to enhanse progressions.
- Be able to alter any chord on the fly.
- Be able to recognise and use chord degrees with-in a shape.
- Be competent in techniques such as arpegiating shapes, palm muting and fingerpicking.
- Know and improvise around chord variations such as suspended, alternate bass notes, major and minor 6, #5 and diminished shapes.
- Be able to sightread in open and 1st position
- Be able to sightread rhythm and counting patterns and values up to 16th note divisions
The Lick Factory course draws on years of experience from professional players and teachers. Our syllabus is constructed around a “nothing left out” concept. We cover all techniques in detail from the theory to the practical real world application. More importantly, our course follows a logical chronological order. Each lesson flows on from the previous with each step developing your skills as a player.
